Clutch Master Cylinders (CMC) and Clutch Slave Cylinders (CSC) are precision cylinders in hydraulically actuated, pressure-operated clutch systems, provided in premium automobile applications. The Clutch Master Cylinder contains a reservoir that stores the brake fluid. It is connected to the Clutch Slave Cylinder through hoses. The clutch pedal force applied by the driver is converted into hydraulic pressure in the Clutch Master Cylinder. This hydraulic pressure then flows towards the clutch, where it is converted back into force in the Clutch Slave Cylinder, thereby operating the clutch.
